The DSN sensors are being used for the measurement process. By this the capable to measure features in highest precision which are very close to each other.

Color independency, tolerance in positioning, highest reliability, temperature stability

The measurement tunnel operates with any color of the car body or top. By this you can introduce new colors during the car life cycle usually without the need for a new system calibration/installation. Special measurement procedures and algorithms ensure, that every single measurement point is highly available and that external influences like geometrical changes of the carrier are being recognized by the system. The system is highly tolerant against variances in positioning of the carrier in the tunnel. When using AGVS automated guided vehicle system there are usually position tolerance in the range of cm. But still the system can keep its high accuracy in measurement comparable to a CMM.
