1997

1997 inos Automationssoftware GmbH (inos) has been founded in Stuttgart, the heart of the the German car industry. Since then inos is known for development and marketing of innovative solutions for sophisticated automation and measurement applications.

inos has started with the idea to add sensitive capabilities to the industrial robots as they are being used today or will used tomorrow. These capabilities of seing or feeling – technically speaking “sensors” – are know being used in robot and robotless applications.

The owl in the logo of inos is our sign for sharp eyes and whitness. Sharp eyes for the robots are the inos sensors. Whitness – in this case process knowhow – is being used for the information extraction from the sensors image to get understandable and reasonable results.

With these ideas, which are still valid today, inos has become one of the leading supplieres for specialized robot guidance and measurement applications in the automotive and other industries.

The inos experience and capability for innovations has been documented by the installations themselfes and by a series of patents and awards inos has been granted.

International

Since 2004 the globalization beyond Europe to North America and Asia has been forced. This is partly performed by own daughter companies, partly by strong partnerships.

In the year 2007 inos has started a long term development cooperation with KUKA Robotics. The resulting output will again prove the innovative power of both companies. It will cover new solutions and applications to the benefit of the growing needs of the clients.

Today

In the year 2008 we see an inos company, which is listed for most of the automotive companies as a direct supplier. For a lot of clients inos is providing a set of different applications. Installations in Europa, USA and China prove the quality, productivity and service capability for the products on a global scale.

What will come

For the next years we inted a lot.This will require and mean changes to fulfil the reuirements of growth, globalisation and leaps in technology. What will be continued are our know assets:
