The iSENS sensor series
The iSENS sensor series is a comprehensive system of components which can be combined and configured to optimally match the measurement feature requirements. There single line laser sensors, multi line laser sensors, stereo sensors, structured light sensors, flaps for rough operation environments and other components.
Temperature stability
By the use of special high grade steel materials with a significant little temperature gradient and in combination with special design criteria in the geometric positioning of the single components a high level of temperature stability is achieved. By this the sensor only needs one calibration in the inos workshop and then can be operated in usual working environments with regular temperature range without a need to have additional measure for temperature or drift compensation.Ease of maintenance and replacement
The iSENS sensor will be calibrated once in the inos workshop and afterwards delivered and installed. Replacement sensors of the same configuration can simply be put into position of the old/failed sensor. To do the replacement there is no need for specific image processing knowledge. All connectors are clearly marked and there is no risk of miss positioning. Software tools automatically check the new sensors correctness in position and measurement capability.
