inos SIR™ Depal - flexible and fast depalletizing of KLT boxes (Kleinladungsträgern)
A robot based solution for cost efficient depalletizing/separation of mixed KLT palettes. inos SIR Depal recognizes the position and orientation of the different KLTs on one palette. It grips a single box and positions it to a storage place like a conveyor belt. inos SIR is a software platform which allows the integration of different sensors and the analysis of their data to perform an online guidance of the robot.
Automatic recognition of position and type of the KLT
The recognition of the KLTs by the inos system is subdivided into a first localization of the pallets position and height and then the fine localization of the next to be gripped KLT.
The intelligent KLT-gripper
The physical core of the system is the KLT-gripper. This innovative gripper adds eyes to the robot. By this the robot is capable to recognize the size, position and orientation of a KLT box, which allows the precise gripping.
